Hello Everyone,

I have some REALLY big news to share with you all:

A new train club called the East End High Railers has been formed (and is now constructing a layout) in Bohemia, NY. The address for the layout is:

1395 Lakeland Avenue
Suite #24
Bohemia, NY 11716

And it is FOUR minutes away from Central Operating Lines:

Now, we will have a FIFTH Long Island Train Club in addition to the four main Long Island Train Clubs:

  1. Central Operating Lines
  2. Nassau Lionel Operating Engineers
  3. St. James Model Railroad Club
  4. Trainmasters of Babylon

A great sign of the O gauge Hobby!

Congrats and best wishes for your success!

Is your layout stationary or mobile or both?

Do you have a meeting space? I'm just curious about how other groups are structured.....

Per your request before you edited your post, I have made Larry Laskowski aware of you new club.  Best of luck and hope to see you soon.

I have not started the club. I just read this somewhere online, @Putnam Division. The website is here: https://eastendhighrailers.com/. You can go there for more info.

@NOT LionelLLC, Please let Mr. Laskowski know that this isn't my club so he doesn't get confused.

Those of you who have liked my post - @Andy Hummell, @trains52, @poconotrain, and @RSJB18 - sorry for any confusion. I have not started the club. I just happened to read this online somewhere.

I agree with Arthur.Bohemia is central Suffolk county.East end is Riverhead east both north and south forks. For years there has been talk of the east end becoming its own county ,called Peconic county, but so far it is just talk. The east end does have the railroad museum in Riverhead which has a small n and o gauge layout in their gift shop as well as the former Lionel layout in another building.
