I have a TMCC set as pictured and I cannot find anywhere in the manual how I am suppose to get power to the track. Will someone please point this newbie in the right direction.

Hook up your wire from your transformer like normal to the track. Then hook up one wire from the where it says "track U" on the back of the base to the ground, the "U" terminal on the back of your transformer. The command base you have transmits the signal through that ground.
If you have the quick start manual it's listed on page 4.
Thank you so much I thought I was going to have buy some sort of power supply. I am guessing my PW ZW 275 should be adequate for power?
Your ZW is good, plenty of power. A word of advice, with using a PW transformer you may want to put some sort of fuse/circuit breaker in the center rail line. Those older transformers do not have the best circuit breakers and if you are running command engines with 18v going to the track a short can cause the electronics to fry.
Here's a link to an old forum discussion if you're not familiar.

What I do (I use Lionel Fastrack) is I have one terminal train which runs to my power suppler using both wires from in. I then have another terminal track right next to it which goes to the TMCC base, in that case I only use the black ground wire and it and leave the hot wire just not connected.

keep it simple smart guy
then go from there...
RR,
Your old ZW will be plenty of power, follow Ron's diagram and use the safety fuse and TVS also. If you add DCS the TVS will be built into the TIU.
