Premier, of course. I'll try to track down my source...
It's all the result of the "compression" that non-scale items go through, it's also a shame. If they're going to go to all that trouble to make a nice looking item, they ought to at least make it the right size. 8'-6" trucks could be put on the MTH car, but the wheel well would have to be cut larger, not by much though.
GGD will get them right. Hope they get a lot of pre-orders at York.
I see their flyer has made it into the model magazines already
This looks like a good source. I forget where I bought mine.
Thanks Rex! These are the Lionel (K-Line) trucks (6-22366) I've been using:

but the MTH ones appear to have better detail.
Just noticed this little item on the new/updated 3rd Rail website:
Something Old Something New:
- To go along with our Silver Meteor, we are offering an updated version of our GG-1, with Canon Motors and all wheels powered. A much better drive system. Painted in Silver, Brunswich Green or Tuscan Paint Schemes.
Guess I’ll have to settle for trains that fit on my layout. LOL!
A 43 year SCL wait was long enough so I did these up just to have a passenger set.
Love that set.
That is good news on the six axle powerfor GG1s. If they do a retro kit, maybe I will re-do my FF1s, which suffer the same way.

I really like the detail. From 3" away they look as good as the massively expensive Wabash trucks
Any York reports on this? So far, I've seen nothing
Just noticed GGD has updated the Silver Meteors brochure, 6-car set plus add-ons!!!
Hopefully Scott will come on and give us a progress report
