I wanted to make this so bad but..... we have stuff going on I guess??
What can I say to argue with when I got about six trains in the last two weeks. I'm already pushing the limits.
I even tried dangling the fact that we could go back to Strassburg or Steamtown that she really liked. MTH is going to be there.
I can only hope that next year there aren't too many trains on blowout prices right before this event so I can save up. I'm tapped.
Maybe I can sneak in another phone order soon? I like their deals. They even had G scale stainless switches when no one else had them. I'd like to see their G scale stuff in person as well as the O.
Good luck on this event and I bet some here on the forum, will get more great deals there.
Yeah, he's got some stuff I've kinda wanted for a while but didn't was just too far down on the list to justify
I've had this day planned out for months. Finish up at work by 9:00, head straight to Broomall, shop my tail off, head home to catch a little sleep, then off to Camden for my final Black Sabbath concert. Then my kid calls, and my plan went right down the tubes. I need to head to the shore to pick him up today, and without much needed sleep, I'll be nodding off during the concert. I can go to Nicholas Smith tomorrow, but I'm sure all the cool stuff will be gone by then. Someday, I've got to say no to my kid.
I think they will also have the Lionel Phillies set for $100 (without track and transformer). Last year they had a nice Chessie comventional engine for $100 as well as the Union Pacific burro ceane for $100. and I Believe MTH railking rolling stock 4 for $100.
I'll be there later this afternoon!-
Sounds like he does have a bunch of good deals, too bad I live in Minneosta
Joey, what kind of tent is it? :-)
Good luck with the sale! Charlie....
ITs two tents
Went last year --- had a really nice day --- place was packed
Going on Saturday --- can't wait
Working there all day. Lots of great deals
Made it there this morning. I went on my motorcycle, so I did several laps trying to decide what I wanted, since once my limited cargo space is used up, I'm done. Anyway, I must have walked past this 3 times before I spotted it. Not part of the tent sale, but I always wanted one. It did not have a box, but the guy did a real nice job packing it up. Too bad it wouldn't fit in my new tail bag. I had to throw away the box they gave me, and all the packing, then squeeze just the station into my bag. Got it home without any damage. I did grab a box car from the tent.
