I spent Saturday at the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society Members Day Open House. Suffice it to say it was fantastic! Everything from the crew, events, activities and food was a class act. As a member my friends and I got to go for a cab ride. Once we got back to stop a downpour ensued and we spent the about a half hour inside the cab with the crew to stay dry until the rain stopped.
The engine looks great with its freshly painted smoke box and of course the Mars Light! I also approve of the temporary change in identity to raise awareness of the Headwaters Junction project. Non-railfans are going to be so confused. Can't wait to see it at Steam in the Valley!
