That's a new twist. What does everyone think about that?

I think it was an excellent idea. The real question is, will the "webmasters" voice be on the crewtalk again?.
Hopefully, there will be similar included options in future offerings, where appropriate.
I agree with Rick. Knowing which sound sets are going to used will be important. Both the PM 1225 and NKP 765 from the last Legacy releases both had recordings from the prototype locomotives. Hope they use those recordings again as they were top notch!

I agree... for me, this is question #1.
Rick I was wondering the same thing but it won't be anywhere close to a deal breaker if not.
And will the cab figure look like this...
LOL! That cracks me up every time!

Hi Rick,
I would also like to know if Rich's voice will be on the crew talk.

Oh no! It's Mr. Bill.
Ah yes, cab figures. I'm still having nightmares from my 3rd Rail FL-9...

It depends I guess. I doubt that Lionel will go back to "roadname-and-numnber-specific" CrewTalk dialog already, but I guess we can dream and hope for the best. If the generic dialog does come with the same voices, I think that's good enough for me.
