I recently laid down a simple track plan.  I tested it for electrical continuity and found that the inner loop does not get power. The two inner 031 switches do not light.  I have tried apply power directly to the  inner loop and found that only the inner right hand switch has power. I am using MATH realtrax. Does anyone know of a cure for this, any help will be appreciated.

I use FasTrack so I don't really know the intricacies of RealTrax but to me it sounds like you've accidentally created isolated blocks. Do you know if the switches have breaks in the third rail. If thats the case you might need to wire your layout with block segments, making the inner and outer loops two separate blocks.

The inner loop is some how isolated from the outer loop but I don't know how. I will just have to run power to the inner loop too.  I had a bad section of track on the outer loop and replaced it. I had this same setup with tubular track and it was no problem but this one has me stumped. If anyone knows more about this please post.

be sure that the track power jumper is on the correct terminals on the dead switch. bench test it or put power per the manual to the hot ACC PWR terminal and the outside rail to confirm the switch is good.

Check the small magnet on the motor arm that moves the rail and ensure that it is seated properly.

See my other post on no power for the inner loop in the electrical forum.
