I recently acquired a Legacy Berkshire 11129 C&O #2696. This is my first Legacy locomotive, and I really enjoy ... heck, LOVE!!! ... operating it.
However, it also has some minor warts. None of the “green jewel” classification, fickering firebox, or ashpan lights function. All other lighting & Railsounds functions are OK. Smoke is awesome .... and will drive my wife nuts once (if!) she learns I bought it. (Shheeesh, puhleeze!)
I attempted to turn those lights on via the “Aux 3” panel on my Cab2, without success. (I suspect that the 2010 Legacy Berks won't respond to Cab2 Aux3 lighting commands, although I could be mistaken.)
I can do without the ashpan & firebox lighting, but would really like to have those Classification lights glowing green. (BTW, the number-boards do light.)
Is this "fixable"?
