just curious whats the smallest curve for 3r tube track I got some track with my katz 515 thats under 0-27.

Depending on where you measure O-27 is smaller than 27. I think if you measure center rail to center rail it is about 25.
There is some VERY old 3 rail track that is 20"
this measures on out side 3rd rail 19" and it has like cardboard ties. Im guessing any of the small 4 wheel tinplate cars wont have any issues running on it and the straights are 1'. just thought it was odd for such a tight radius

Early 3 rail was much like the 2 rail made back then for the clockwork, REALLY tight curves. Small wheelbase locos and cars will run on it no problem.
The little passengers inside get crazy dizzy and banged around though...
...never mind an overwhelming sense of deja vu with respect to the passing scenery...
