O Scale Number Boards Baldwin Diesel

Im not aware of those Baldwin loco number boards available as a separate salr. I would think the best one can find is Alco Pa-1/FA-1 number boards and they would have to be modified.

A remote option.is contact MTH and see if they will sell you the number boards for the AS616. Better hurry as MTH is closing next year.

FWIW, MTH's center cab is a Lima locomotive, not an Alco.  There are many significant detail differences between the Lima and a Baldwin besides the number boards (angled vs. flat nose, radiator grill differences, trucks are 180 degrees different between the two, etc.).

I am well aware that there are significant differences between the Lima and Baldwin center cab diesel locomotives and impossible to make a Baldwin locomotive from a Lima locomotive. As I said, I saw these EJ&E center cab almost daily from 1955 until they were replaced by the second generation diesels. As kids in the 1950's we watched the "J" freight drags, waved to the engineers and on numerous  occasions watched the flat switching of cars on the siding track. The partial kit bash is not prototypical but maybe this orange and green diesel will bring back the childhood memories of the smells and sounds of this Baldwin diesel many long years ago.
