I weather me crazy so this is the next one a Brass Overland Models covered hopper what you see is only dry brushing not using of a airbrush or powders. I will use a airbrush under the car but not so much and maybe powders on top but first I'll leave it like that and look at the real pictures how further of course the weathering from the real one but also a little bit I like.
Certainly looks realistic!
Beautiful weathering job. It goes to show what dry brushing can do by itself.
Absolutely great, Ed! Looks like you're having fun! :-)
This one a Russell Snowplow from Overland is hard for me to do so you see at first how I start it is far from finished I did the air hoses and the first weathering with yes dry brushing so I not know how it goes but I have pictures. This one takes I think a lot of time to do it right.
Hopefully this one will be great but if I don't like it the weathering can easily removed.

What Sarah said having fun yes it is the next step of weathering the Overland Russell Snowplow what you see is not the finishing yet but drying now hope in the next week the final weathering.
The real one picture under is something like that I know it is heavily weathered my overland but I think ok.

Mr Ed that looks marvelous nice job!
Looks great Ed.
Would be fun to ride that in a real deep snow storm.
Ed, that plough looks more realistically weathered than the prototype!
Looks fantastic Ed! This is the 1st OMI Russel Plow I've seen in O scale. You have a great eye for detail and the talent to bring them to life.

a few more pictures with the new weathering cars or I did last. I work with photography with all kinds of exposures to see what is beautiful but also show them to you. I'm not a photographer but try to get the best out of what I can.

@p51 posted:Incredible work. What did you use for rust on the wheels and couplers? I love the color you used!
Thanks, I used Hymbrol and Revell paint in colors rust and brown and black also use some powders if necessary did this on the wheels and couplers I used 3 colors for the wheels. Black is for me never 100% black but take a number in the line of Revell what is 70% for example, I always mix the paints and look for pictures what I like😀
An extremely well-done model by Key. Edwin, love your photos of your beautiful equipment. Keep them coming !!
THANKS FANTASTIC
Ed , what a beautiful model! Great photos.

I showed the K-3 New York central from Key now the K-4 post-war version PRR from Kohs & Company this is fine art really the finest I ever seen and one of his best, I think the K-4 is for many PRR railroaders a important locomotive also done by PSC what is also a fine model and others. The paintjob is more than super very very nice done. It has his own sound system with batteries and many electrical wires between the tender and locomotive no longer on the Challenger between them from Kohs and way better. 1361 still exists to this day with long tender I believe, I hope you all like this one.
