This is a strange one.   I have a new RKI ES44AC that I run consisted with a RKI PS3 SD70ACE.   When I create the lashup, it runs fine until I shut the trains down and turn the power off.   Upon next power-on and consist startup, the ES44 loses it's mind and thinks it's the head engine pointing forward - so it fights the SD70.  A quick shutdown of the consist followed by restarting it renders it sane again, and it will remain so until I turn off the power to the tracks again.   Power is good across the layout - DCS signal of 10 and good voltage everywhere.

Here's another interesting tidbit - this only seems to happen when I run it in reverse as the REAR engine of the consist.  I have other ES44's of similar vintage but they are the lead engines.  Both of them also run with SD70's - one PS2 and the Other PS3.  They don't experience the issue.  The suspect ES44 (CSX) runs normally as a lone engine or as the lead in the consist.

Older DCS software - 4.2 to be exact.

Ideas???

Thanks in advance!!!
