Agreed;

I will not be Shopping on a Holiday, EVER.

I did the Black Friday thing last year to get something my wife wanted but I told her then, Never Again.

We usually put up the Christmas Tree the Friday after Thanksgiving but this year I just finished lighting it up. 500 new LED lights in all the usual colors. My newest grand daughters first Christmas So no Victorian all white light tree this year. I'm even going to dig up the old bubble lights.

I only went Black Friday shopping during the day and got my soon to be wife something last year, but I can't be like the rest of these people who stay out in the cold all day and night over crap that doesn't last long, atleast for model trains its in and out, i still can't believe that these stores will be open Thanksgiving evening, I'll be at home relaxing and running my trains and planning out my little christmas layout

I agree that stores being open for Thanksgiving is a real shame.  My family and I also try to avoid being out on Black Friday, but my brother works retail, and I'm always telling him that he needs to request a riot shield and cattle prod for Black Friday!

Anyway, what I'm really looking forward to on Thanksgiving is the release of the first trailer for Jurassic World.  The movie itself will be out in June.  By the way, there will be monorails in this movie, so it will be the first time trains will be involved in a Jurassic Park film!
