I just received my new issue of OGR magazine.  When I thumbed through the pages, I stopped and my eyes popped!  There was an article by George Brown on the newly released Lionel Neil Young Signature Legacy Texas Special F3 set (also included the Pennsylvania set).  This article was very well written and gave very detailed and precise information on the operation, electronics, sounds, lighting, etc., of this beautiful F3 set.  I just received my Neil Young TS F3 set a few days ago and this article was the icing on the cake.  I haven't placed my set on the track yet because I'm still in the process of laying track to my layout modification but the information contained in this writing was invaluable to me.

My Texas Special F3's are nothing less than stunning in appearance.  Both units have the same glossy paint and with the yellow nose and yellow stripes on the pilot the Neil Young Texas Special F3 set is a real eye catcher.  If members get a chance please read this article and if you are on the fence about getting a beautiful Texas Special engine, this is the one I would highly recommend.  Well done OGR and thank you.

But all is forgiven as my Lionel PWC TX SP F3 died last weekend, so this might be the time for me to get the NYS TX SP!
