I have been busy the last couple of days putting up catanary.  It will not be hooked up but my GG1's look happy under it and thats all that counts.  Every time they pass under the wire (which is code 83 HO rail upside down) it looks like they are wearing a smile!!

I bid on a few buildings on eBay today to add to the layout.  I also will be moving my hardware store to the "other side of the tracks" and plan the room for the lumber yard behind it.  Alex Malliae will be building me the lumber shed in a few weeks for it.  

Oh and I ran some trains!

Darn health issues have been keeping me from working on the layout and will continue that way for a couple more weeks.

Went down to the train room and decided after failing for weeks to find someone who builds control panels for a reasonable cost, decided to hook up the old "temporary" control panel for now and try again in a while ...

Sure like to have one of those nice looking functional panels ...

Stymied by lack of material and parts to continue with the creosote plant, I went back to working on kitbashing the ghost town kit. Cut out front and back facades for the store out of milled siding...now to figure out how to make the side walls sagged so the roof looks sagged..using the milled siding..I see future holes in the roof and rafters showing...a hanging sign....maybe one squatter in a shack panning the tailings...trains don't stop..they don't even slow there anymore..
