Does anyone have a copy of the Instructions for building an old Korber Kit #918 Union Ice Service Co. that they could share? This came in a maroon box that states Korber Models a Division of Scale Modelers Industries with an address of Clementon N.J. I believe this is the older one as the icing platform frame itself is made out of wood not injection molded. Thank you!

Hope this helps, but it is not much......bought the kit at York off a table (late 90s) and put it together about 2 years ago.
The 1st two pictures came with the kit..........nothing on building the ice house except that I had documentation on how to use modular parts from another Korber kit and that is picture 3 & 4.
If you need shots of the finished structure, I can do those later......

Peter, thank you for the reply. I believe these instruction are for a newer kit than mine. I have the same cover letter with an address of #2 Tidswell Ave., Medford, New Jersey. The box itself is maroon with an address of P.O. Box 101, Clementon, New Jersey. I believe the later kits had the 10 uprights for supporting the icing platform made out of some sort of molded plastic. My kit they are to be made out of wood and need to be glued together. I have accounted for all those pieces. I have a bunch of leftover pieces I don't know where they go. Some are 3-4 inches long. I believe they might be for stairs, have probably 100 smaller pieces of wood maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inches long and no idea on how to build the ice chute or placement. Again, thank you for what you have provided!
Maybe ask Mr Muffins. They carry the Korber line.

Here are some pics I took…….even with the instructions, I had no idea how or building ice chutes………so, I built mu out with styrene and painted them dark green.
The idea of asking Steve is a good one……but he’s the 4th owner of the Korber line and it may be a long shot if they are still available….

This is the kit that I bought many years ago. Everything bagged or shrink wrapped. Unfortunately, no instructions. So, if anyone does has a copy of the instructions that John and I need, it would be gratly appreciated.

PS. I can't do anything without supervision.

Here is the information that I have. Note again that the pictures Peter had submitted are similar but there are differences. My instructions show that the platform cross braces actually overlap the uprights, where Peters the cross braces appear to be molded in. Both drawings still show the colors of the wood to be used to build the structure. My parts include a 1 piece flat roof. Peters appears to be 3 pieces with molded in details. It also appears that are some enhancements in the pictures Peter supplies such as details on the molded building itself. Additional corner details, left to right details and finials on top of the building itself. My kit has none of those parts. I believe there was another page of instructions. There is a picture showing the Front of the LEFT side Icing Platform, I think there should be 1 for the Right side. This would show the placement of the chutes. I also believe there should have been some info on building the steps, placement of the steps, placement of the ladder, building and placement on chute from the building to the icing platform etc. I also have a bunch of small wood pieces about 3/4" long with various thicknesses that aren't shown on the drawings I have. Some are taped in small bundles but no paint colors to show where they might go. This kit isn't shown on Mr. Muffins website. Again any additional information would be appreciated.

Wow……your box says probably 1980s Korber!
I. too, was frustrated by the lack of instructions for the chutes.
I just had the idea that maybe some build pictures might help……..
Hope this helps a little…..

Peter, thank you again. It appears your building front and rear are made up of 6 sections each. My front, rear and sides are only 1 piece each. With the pictures you have shown it really brings out the differences between the years of manufacturing. John. PS Nice work tools and work area. Are those magnets you're using to hold the sides together worth the money?
I like them. They are great if the lines are straight………when there is warping, I use the spring-loaded clamps.
