I'm pretty sure I know the answer.  When in doubt, err on the side of caution.  It's hard to know what Lionel's stance would be on distributing old catalogs, they may have some sort of deal with a publisher to distribute them.  Putting them on the forum, would doubtless be frowned upon for that reason.  OGR probably doesn't want to get in the middle of something like this, they've already been burned, and I have to agree with that stance.

Perhaps the best conclusion would be to ask Lionel to have these posted on OGR? Perhaps this could be discussed at the Lionel and OGR meetings at York?

You are welcome Allegheny!

Paul, nice to hear from you. Yes, the exact same content except you are using the LCCA web-site as the server. You do not need to be concerned about CDs, CD/DVD readers, etc. plus you can view the material on any web-enabled device and not just PCs or Macs.

Are those catalogs archives downloadable?

I'd rather have them available locally rather than having to go online every time I wanted to search them.

I copied the contents of the two HSL catalog archives that I bought to my hard drive so I don't have to have the DVD available.
