Opened TIU and saw a rubber/plastic coated wire only connected on one end. See photos. Any suggestions?

To elaborate...it's the antenna. Only the one end gets connected. There is nothing wrong.

Why did you open the TIU?
FYI, if you didn't know the wire was an antenna, you probably also didn't know that if you lifted up on the wire or the small board to which it's connected, you could do some real damage.
Seriously, if you're experiencing an issue with your DCS, do yourself a favor and ask questions here before you start poking around where you shouldn't.
