Owner's Manuals & Parts Lists for MTH Items

Good luck with that.  If it ain't on the website now, it's not likely to appear.

I just browsed the MTH website on your behalf.  First, you don't want the owner's manuals.  When you have a product up on your screen, look under the "Support" tab and choose the last icon on the right (sorry, I don't know how to describe it).  That will bring up a parts list and product assembly diagram.

With respect to your engine type, every SD70M-2 that I examined either had no data or brought up the data for another engine, typically another SD70 variety.  You might try contacting MTH to see if the parts and diagrams are interchangeable (with some minor variations) for all their SD70 type engines.

Why would I not want the Owner's Manuals?

As I mentioned in my post, I did review each product's pages - especially the support tab and didn't find anything - hence the post.

In some cases I've been able to find the Owner's Manuals and Parts List after searching the Service area of the website. Unfortunately nothing for any of these - which I find interesting. Generally I have been able to find a match.

MTH does a lot of things well.  Part lists and manuals are not among them.  If I can’t find the operator’s manual or parts list for one of my engines or passenger cars, I try to find one for an engine or car that was produced around the same time frame.  Generally, that has worked well.  MTH passenger cars are fairly generic so you should be able to find something that works for your coach.  They did put out some Premier parts guides in 2015.  While I don’t see your exact product numbers there, it might be close enough.

I have been looking for parts lists for a long time. MTH has very few. I only found one that I needed.

Do any of the MTH tech's have these ? If not how do you order parts ?

We have what you see for the most part.  There are some references, especially for common parts, these have been published here several times.

Today I finally got to check out the recently received 20-20525-1 - Florida East Coast (Red/White/Blue) SD70M-2 Diesel Engine and place it in my database.

Looking at the box it says - in large print "SD70ACE Diesel Engine". In smaller print on the label it says " . . . SD70M-2 Diesel Engine . . ." so I guess documentation for a SD70ACE will work with this SD70M-2.
