I add my condolences to his family. Although I never met him, it is clear he was very dedicated to this hobby and was a very generous person. Blessings to him.

Wow, I was just reading Joes article in run 326 New Identity, which is so well written with beautiful pictures and a great description, and looked over at the OGR Page and saw Allan Millers thread indicating the Joe had passed away. This is so sad, I loved reading his articles and seeing pictures of his really nice train layout. Rest In Peace as you will be missed by many model railroaders, we send prayers and condolences to his family and friends. God Bless. Thank you Allan for sharing this information.
My condolences to his family.
I am very sorry to read this. Condolences to all Joe's family and friends. We all lose on such a day. RIP

That is really sad news. Joe will be missed by all of the modeling community, we've lost a great man. God Bless you Joe, may you rest in peace and my condolences to his family.
I'm sad to hear this. I was just reading his article, too. He will be missed. May God bless him and his family.

When it comes to creating buildings and structures from scratch, Joe was one of those amazing people who could think "3 dimensionally". How does one do that? It must be a God-given talent.
Joe was the one who introduced me to the local model railroader club. We met completely by accident.
When I received my copy of O Gauge Railroading I received his copy as well. Instead of chucking his copy back in the mailbox, I decided to drop it off at his house. I remember he was working on a refinery in his garage the day we met and was completely blown away by his artistry. And make no mistake....his creations were artistry. Strange how paths can cross.
May God already have welcomed you into His abode. Rest in Peace Joe Fauty, Rest in Peace......
RIP Joe, You were a very good friend and You will be missed.
Sorry to hear this.
He made some great personalized building facades for each of my eight (8) grandchildren. Joe
