I'm brand new at this, and have a modest 4x8 layout I'm working on for a train I bought for myself at Christmas, and at age 64 it reminded me of my Lionel General (still have it) set I Santa brought me in 1960.

YouTube has been a big help, and I see some layouts have a pedestrian bridge, (0 gauge) where can I find one?  Search on Amazon was no dice, with same results on general internet searches.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy the hobby. There is a lot of good help here on the OGR forum. I started out in 2011 when I retired, similar to the way you are getting started here. I learn something every time I come to this forum (pretty much on a daily basis).

Here's a link to MTH's pedestrian walkway. Shops listing it as being in stock are shown under the 'Find It Locally' tab.

And here's a link from a recent thread to Lionels version.

And here's the link to the recent thread. There's a link to another bridge in this thread, but I believe it's from a European vendor as price is listed in U.K. pounds. It could also possibly be available from a US vendor?

Also, I searched the forum for 'pedestrian bridge; but from the links above I noticed Lionel and MTH call these 'pedestrian walkways'. I didn't try this, but searching Amazon or Google with that phrase might yield more results than you had gotten in your earlier search?
