Photos of National RR Museum in Green Bay

I had a chance to visit this museum many years ago. I had no idea that this museum existed until one of my employees took me on a tour after we completed a client visit. The Big Boy was the highlight of the visit. When you stand next to it, it sure is massive. if you have never seen a Big Boy in person and you are near Green Bay, it is worth seeing.

Actually, I just blew the shot because the lighting was too low and the manual settings I needed to get some degree of focus without the tripod just made it look that bright. It looked okay in the LCD, but I saw how bad it was once I downloaded it to my laptop. Thanks for cleaning it up. I should have done that, but I was too disappointed to mess with it, sorry. My tripod was in my van, but I let my brother-in-law drive us in his SUV because he's more familiar with the streets in Green Bay.

I have learned the hard way to always have your tripod with you.   If you dont though there is other ways of steadying your camera.  I have sat my camera bag on the ground or a table and sat my camera on it for a makeshift tripod countless times.
