Hi all, we're putting together our new permanent layout. The top level is a street scene with the lower level being a subway. We are going for the classic toy train style layout and love the look of those old tin or wood buildings. We have a few storage tubs full of old (20s to 50s) tin buildings. Although all are for 0 gauge trains, obviously "scale" is in the eye of the beyholder. My question is should we put the smaller profile buildings coser to the viewer or further away. The layout is a 8 x 10 island style. So visiters can view from all sides. Which way would you go for best visual effect?
thanks
Frank
