Plans for polar express layout

There have been many post here....but you might have better luck giving more info. Someone post a plan for a 12 x 24 layout and you have 4 x 8 space will not be much help.

The layout design elements that you see the most, I think look the best and portray the story. hero Boy gets on, trains climbs spiral mountain, the viaduct and the North Pole.

Perhaps you could use some different elements out of the book to create an interesting layout.

That was pretty nice Dtrainmaster. Two of my favorites are the one that TW Trainworx built for a customer John Smith Polar and  My Polar Express.

 

I have a 4 x 12 spiral mountain, viaduct and North Pole plan if you would like it. I also have a design for a really large spiral plan that climbs to 20" like the first video.

 

I had a problem with the exit off of the mountain on the down trip and couldn't resolve the derails , so it didn't get built for 2013.

Moon Man do you have a layout plan in anyrail or scram to share? or even a .pdf or .jpg of the layout file?

Sure. What size would like? I have one with a six foot diameter mountain that climbs 27" or a small version in 036 that can fit on a 4 x 8 or 4 x 12 that has a once around mountain that climbs 6 1/4". Either of them can be lengthened or have a L-leg added. They are in SCARM.

Both are similar to the first video "My Polar Express" Mountain, Viaduct and North Pole.

Could I get the 4x8 or 12 layout?  Also is there a chance i could get a pdf or jpg of the layout?
