I'm guessing the use of power districts (using the DCS Companion P. 60 reference here) has nothing to do with DCS signal strength. Am I on track? I'm currently running multiple engines/motors and lighted passenger cars in two consists off one transformer throttle on a single loop. I haven't measured the amp draw, but am guessing I'm pushing over 10 (I count 3 can motors, four smoke units, five lighted coaches, and a lighted caboose). The power district idea looked like a good way to manage power, but I was wondering if the DCS signal could also benefit. Ideas?
