I would go with either MRC, Marklin or LGB. Make sure you can plug it into your electric outlet over there. If it is a US type 120 volt transformer you will need a step-up transformer to your voltage, 220 volts correct? Don't use an adapter by itself as that just changes the pin connections and does nothing for voltage. I was stationed in Fulda Germany in the late 1970's so I know that adapters are just pin changers so to speak.

Hi Lee:  I should have mentioned I live in the US but I will take your advice and go with MRC (I appreciate your mention of Marklin and LGB, I hadnt considered either of them but MRC is more readily available).   thanks again,  Lee
