power to rolling stock - lighted cars | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I run Lionel Fastrack system using DC power. I was thinking about picking up a handful of MTH rolling stock, specifically, the Christmas flat cars such as CHRISTMAS FLAT CAR W/LIGHTED SHEPARD SCENE. So my question is whether MTH cars will light up using DC power from the track or whether they require AC power?
