On my layout there are 6 loops (3 conventional and 3 Legacy), each one has a transformer, no loop connects to another.

Watching a Mike Reagan video, makes me think there should be a Powermaster and bridge between the transformer and Legacy 990.

Did I hear this correctly?

All my transformers are connected directly to the track (via a terminal strip for each loop).

That is correct. You shouldn’t need the bridge if you buy Legacy powermasters. You’ll need one for each conventional loop.

Thanks, cu rrently the conventional engines are on their own transformer and plans are to leave them that.

Currently the 2 Vision Line engines are connected directly to the track, been that way for years,, never had a problem and yes derails do happen.
