The Upstate (NY) Model Railroaders hosted the Batenkill Community Services Day (Open House) on Wednesday, which was lovely. A good time was had by all. Here a community member is running a diesel train using the FlyerChief system, I am running a second FlyerChief (Polar Express) train which the kids love, while the upper loop is running a traditional (American Flyer) Sante Fe, which is one of my favorites. In the second video, a community member is operating the log loader. The third video provides another view of the layout. Thanks for viewing. Mike

Francine. Thank you for these very kind words. I should also note the Upstate (NY) Model Railroaders promotes our wonderful hobby with monthly free Open Houses of our permanent layouts (HO, N, O, G and our beloved S Gauge/American Flyer), and additionally display of our portable layouts at the weekly summer Glens Falls Shirt Factory Market and Food Truck Corral and Shops, events at our local Hudson Public Library, our local Hyde Art Museum, Christmas and Memorial Day Parades, several Nursing Homes, Christmas Displays at our local Queensbury Hotel, and an upcoming project depicting downtown Glens Falls with trolley at the turn of the century...  We typically receive kind thanks for our work with children and the young at heart. We are blessed with members who donate time and resources to hopefully educate and share with the public our fun hobby. Again thank you, Mike on behalf of the the Upstate Model Railroaders.
