I have a RK NS Dash 8 (30-20000-1) that I bought new a few years ago. When I tested it I noticed one of the ditch lights was not lit and figured it was a bad bulb. Not have a permanent layout I figured one day I'll put a new bulb in it. Well I should have looked more into the problem and sent it back. I now discovered that its not the bulb but the socket on the board that it plugs into. One of the pins are missing, guessing it broke off during assembly. My question is this board available or is there a way to bypass the board? From what I can tell this smaller board feeds the lights in front of the engine and maybe the tach reader on the front motor. I though before I go cutting wire ties to trace wires I'd check here first.

Thanks, Brent

Your photo is a little fuzzy but it looks like the connector is like those shown above (from a different PS2 diesel) with pin-to-pin spacing of exactly 2.5 mm.  If you can't find the missing pin, try what G suggests with a piece of solid wire - say, AWG #22 or so.  First slide the solid wire into the cable housing hole to make sure it "grips" with the contact.  Of course you can replace the connector which is not expensive (50 cents) but can be a hassle considering shipping costs, etc.
