Does anyone happen to own or know of an MTH diesel with a front Mars light and rear headlight or tailight? I am in the process of a F3 PS1 to PS3 conversion and I am trying use the existing tethers to light the trailing A unit headlight. I have tried numerous chain files but haven’t found one yet that has both the Front Mars and taillight. Thanks!!!!

Have you tried the sound/chain files from a F3 or F7 ABA set? Those should have front and rear lights enabled.
I have tried all of the PS3 F3 ABA files and while the do work the Mars light, they do not turn on the rear headlight/tailight when direction changes. A single engine diesel File like for Genesis will turn on the rear headlight/tailight but no Mars. I will try F7 files also.
I have the latest PS3 Railking 30-20801 Santa Fe. The front unit has the Mars light, headlight, number boards and interior cab lighted.
When I go to reverse all the same happens but the Mars light in the rear unit even though lighted does not strobe like the front unit.
Of course the interior light extinguishes when in motion in both units but the Mars light only strobes on the front unit in motion or in idle. The rear unit Mars lights up but does not strobe in motion or idle.

I finally got it all working correctly loading the latest and greatest file for the F7 A-Unit (hi rail.) None of the ABA files worked because I suspect they use a powered trailing A unit?
