I just replaced a shorted PS2 5V with a PS32 board in a premier GP9 and have found the sound files route the ditch lights to the number boards. When the horn blows, the boards flash.  I have tried different GP9 PS3 sound files as well as a GP20 - no change.

Is it ok to connect the 4 bulbs used in the number boards to the interior light circuit? Total of 6 incandescent bulbs.

Thank you

You can set the ditch light circuit to never flash which should solve your problem with no modifications.

Tried that in the handheld- didn't work - the lights still flash with the horn. The tablet does not even indicate ditch lights as an option, just interior, marker, and boards.

This simple board upgrade was complicated when I damaged the top board which knocked out the tach reader. I ordered a replacement board which fixed the tach reader and everything now works perfectly minus an uncooperative ditch light circuit being assigned to the number boards. I thought about researching the wire assignments, but at this point, I am good to try what John has recommended in multiple threads.

Sorry for the long story but thank you for the help!

Yep, I tried programming the ditch lights on a PS/3 diesel, apparently there is no setting that leaves them on all the time.  Odd, as I remember some PS/2 engines allowed that option.

You could use an original PS-2 3V upgrade file for your model to fix this.  Or, if you had a board tester you could see if other output are the number board.  Besides Ditch lights, the MARS output could have been used for the LNB.  If so, you move the ditch wires from the 8 pin to the Mars outputs on the 8 pin.  The PS-2 3V upgrade instructions have the output diagram.  G
