This is my first post in OGR's forum. I really enjoy the incredible breadth of posts from some of the industry's true heavyweights on down to average hobbyists like me. I've learned lots here already. This concerns my Wabash Bluebird set from a couple of years ago. It turns out (from a suggestion by GunRunnerJohn) that HO scale people fit well and look fine inside these smaller-scaled coach interiors. I got the tops off of the pullman and the vista-dome coach, but the observation is another matter. Has anyone had success getting the lid off these types of observation cars without damaging the unit? I can see that Lionel made it very tough to get the top off this particular coach (possibly for no good reason). I want to take out and spray the interiors, fine-detail them a bit and then add the peeps... Will post pics when done, and thanks!
