restoring a set of 2383 Santa Fe's and 2500 aluminum cars. Paint and decals are pristine. Would like to restore the dull finish. A while back there was a post on a type of wax somebody used. I saved the post but lost it in a computer crash. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks , tstark

Some people use Pledge furniture polish. Just be careful around the decals.
I use Future floor wax on my 1/25 car models. it is self leveling and does not affect decals.
Dr Tinker recommended auto wax for my Texas Special 2245. I used liquid Turtle Wax and it came out great! Restored the shine and removed a lot of dirt.
