I have a QS3000 board that I believe has a failed audio amp. The engine goes through all the operations correctly, but the audio is very faint and distorted, if there at all. I didn't know if anyone is still able to repair these.

Please delete post. I found the issue.
Which Was???????
On the end of the board where the speaker plugs in opposite of the connector is an eight pin chip with a small capacitor jumpering 2 of the pins. One of these solder connections had broken down. After I resoldered I pulled the reset jumper and restarted came up OK
So does that mean that YOU are new repair guy?
I WISH! Just got lucky this time. I used to rely on Art Boynton of the Scaled Tin Rail for help on these, but he passed away several years ago. I really got into this system in the late 90's and put quite a few in my postwar units. I know some techs on the forum repair Proto one boards but this is a much advanced version of that.
