Question about 50’ bulkhead flatcar

Does anybody know what was behind that door? And what the valves are for? I am doing some light weathering. And I figured it would help me if I knew what they were used for, and how often they were used. The door is only on one end on one bulkhead. But there is a valve at both ends, on opposing sides.
