QUESTION ABOUT WEAVER PASSENGER CARS

Weaver made those same trucks in 3R.  I bought a pair on eBay, a couple of years ago, having learned that the 3R versions were those used by Weaver on their 3R Hiawatha cars.  The 2R trucks in you show are carbon copies of the 3R trucks I have.  Happy hunting!

Another possibility is Lionel trucks. They have the same offset mounting pin with pickup rollers. While the ones for their 18" Hiawatha cars would be perfect they are NLA. The ones for the 21" cars are the same style but would have to be painted and don't have couplers mounted. If the cars already have kadees they could just be left on.  No easy solution that I am aware of.

I dug out my Weaver 3R trucks and here are the top and bottom views:

I can't find the website that shows early Hiawatha (pre-Nordstrom) trucks but I think you'll find that the Weaver trucks are much closer to prototype than Lionel or MTH.

I found mine on eBay, two pairs.
