Picked up a Lionel 112 Gondola and it has the series 10 single rivet trucks on it.
@Question: Did Lionel ever put the 10 series single rivet trucks on the series 100 freight cars or is it a result of someone swapping parts between the 10 and 100 series freight cars?

Lionel did not use the 10 series trucks on the 100 series. Lionel did use a similar smaller version of single rivet, nickle plated trucks on the early MFG era 100 series cars, embossed "Lionel MFG Co. N.Y." on the bottom.

Thanks you Chug for the information, looks like someone change the truck on the 112 to match the height of the 10 series freight cars
Not a compete loss as I got this gondola for a low cost and the trucks are in nice condition. So far, one of them cleaned up real well, still working on the other.Now I have some more items to add to my "FIND LIST", a set of 100 series trucks and a ten series freight car with no trucks
