I would appreciate if someone with the above unit might answer a question of two on the subject unit and take a quick measurement for me. I am beginning to run out of real estate on my small layout but rather interested in the unit.
1) can the bucket drop down anywhere on the angled track i.e. beside the tower or does it need to fully travel down the angled track and only drop at the end of that track, and
2) what is the maximum distance the coal pile can be placed from the tower when the bucket drops down at the end of the track to pick up coal.
