I had the opportunity to get a few quick shots of the testing of the bipolars that arrived at the Imperial Train Company today. They received two versions, the Pennsy and the Polar Express. Credit for the latter's nickname, "Tripolar" (Polar bipolar) goes to MartyE.

A few shots and a video...

I am pretty happy with this engine.  While having the same Polar Express lines as the Berk, it is a very unique piece and as you can see the paint is a good match.  I wish Lionel would consider a top/bottom Styrofoam cradle for these type big engines.  The side load is very difficult.  This unit so far has performed flawlessly out of the box.
