Is there a way to disable the Quickset speed feature? Somehow I am accidentally activating this feature when operating (errant fingers?) and creates a few seconds of panic while my Loco goes astray. To make matters worse I operate a scale shelf layout with a linear design, so when the Loco keeps going it can be catastrophic. Thanks

It's hard to tell from words if you're pressing too hard or if the thumbwheel mount has broke. When it breaks, the thumbwheel will depress easily with less resistance against accidental pressing.
If it were me, I'd carefully open the remote and check the mount to see if it's cracked.
You have to be careful not to cause more problems inside.
