That wedge socket looks like the ones used on Mini Christmas tree lights sold in strings, and sold by the 10s of millions. I can not be sure as I can not determine the exact size.
If it is a Mini Christmas tree socket bulbs are available in many voltages like 1.5, 3, 6 and 7v and 12v for example. I use the 6 or 7 volts in series and 12v for the buildings on my layout as well as train car lights. They use much less amps than the bulbs in Lionel post war trains.
I get strings of any voltage string of lights out the trash and cut them up into 6 inch pig tails and get the wire, sockets and wedges for free. The bulbs can be bought at Walmart's at 1/2 price after Christmas or on eBay anytime. They come packs of 6 for a dollar or so.
The bulb come with two small wires coming out the bottom. You just stick the two wires into the large hole in the top of wedge and out the bottom and fold the to the side. The push the wedge and bulb into the socket.

This is a longer bulb than the normal x mas tree light. But that kinds like a great idea. I believe it is 16v or 18v not sure.
The MTH part # is CG-0000022. It is an 18v wire lead bulb. It is a cheap part but will, likely, cost way more in shipping. Try to order other parts you may need to justify the shipping charge.
Next time you google try Brand, item number or description. In this case MTH gulf gas station diagram or you could use MTH 30-9168, if you knew the number. Usually the first search return is the manufacturer. In this case, MTH, click support and click on the gears icon. Unfortunately MTH frequently has no diagram or support but, in this case they do. With Lionel you a good chance of getting a parts explosion under replacement parts.
Thank you sir and yes I will give that a try in the future.
Is MTH the only place you can get this bulb?

You can try Bulbtown, or similar. You need to measure the length and get as close to it as possible. MTH uses FedEx so their shipping fee is $10 or $12. You could try shopping around on Amazon.
By the way, I didn’t mean for my searching comment to be a lecture, only a tip to help you find things.
