I have a question for everyone out there.  In 1991 I purchased a Lionel 6-19408 Frisco gondola car with coil covers.  When I got home I placed it on my layout to run and I noticed that one of the coil covers does not have the number on it on one side.  The other coil cover has the number on both sides along with the Frisco Railroad logo.  My question is does anyone else have this car with this variation on it and also is it worth anything?

Have one just like that.  Would bet many are like that, since the model was offered only as an individually-boxed component of the Fallen Flag Series #5 in Book One, 1991.  Don't suppose it adds any value, since coil covers are interchangeable.  Maybe we should swap so each has matching coil covers.  Flip a coin to see who gets the ones with the numbers, and winner pays for shipping.

.just after I bought it and went back up to the store where I purchased it and asked to shop owner her about it.  He said that he checked all of the ones that he had left in stock and that they all had numbers on both sides of the coil covers.  He told me that he would gladly trade me one of those for the one that I had at home.  It would be interesting to hear if anyone else has one with the numbers on both sides of both coil covers.
