Did you have a break-in and all they stole was your layout?
When you see a layout go from finished to deconstructed, it's amazing how different and sometimes, basic, the the layout structure actually is. We view a finished layout as a piece of art, which it is, but the underneath the bones seem very simple. I guess that's the way it is with every complex thing in the world like houses, cars, etc.

Steve, your demo is very neat and organized. I’m the same. Amazing how big the room seems now. One step closer to the new layout…

Did you ever find that BEEP I lost in the tunnel before you rocked up the wall. Been looking for it about 5 years now. Guess it is now a permanent part of your house for future inhabitants to find and wonder. Walter
Got to see trains run across the trestle again!
I had just finished building the trestle, it wasn’t even painted yet. My friend Owen texted me and said he wanted to come over and see it. That was our last conversation before his untimely passing. Ever since I’ve called the trestle “Owens pass”. I got chocked up when I saw what Joe added to it.
Thanks Joe!

Lucky you saved all the boxes Steve!
Good luck Steve! Will be looking for pics of a new layout.
That’s why we save the boxes! Have a safe trip and move!
Looking forward to the new layout!
Peter
Safe travels my friend.
You always know when you're moving to get boxes from liquor stores to help. I can't tell you how many times I've seen beer and hard liquor boxes used for moving. Have fun, and get a drink when you are able.
Steve, what part of SC are you moving to?
