Steve...your layout was simply great and I enjoyed operation on it over the years.
You should now be commended for the complete destructing of your now abandoned railroad layout to become the first model rails-to-trails layout. Your French Town Rail Trail is surely to become a winner too. We can now all come over again sit around and talk about the old days with double-headed MTH READING T-1s, JERSEY CENTRAL F-3 diesels and so much more gone by.

I see this and think about mythology——the word Phoenix comes to mind. A newer better layout will emerge, like the great phoenix. And on another note, Go Knights Go….Vegas is hockey crazy

Jeff, I was using the little smart phone screen and thought Steve had a shelf with a GG1 sitting on it.
Steve, I’m with Mark and the others. I’m having trouble liking any of these posts, but I’m doing it to show support for you and knowing how hard it must be. But, I’m sure you’re thinking about the new layout. I hope the demo goes smoothly and quickly. That means the new layout is that much closer to being built.
