Does anyone know how to remove the blemishes from the roofs of the K-Line satin silver aluminum passenger cars?
I have several of the Santa Fe versions with the smooth satin roofs that I bought used and they seem to take fingerprints and etch them into the finish. The blemishes seem to be fingerprints, possibly from previous owners whose finger oils are acidic. The blemishes are indistinct, but noticeable nonetheless.
I have tried vinegar, lemon juice, WD-40 and alcohol. I do not want to remove whatever finish is on the car, but nothing seems to work.
Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else have blemishes on the roofs of their cars?
