I have a Lionel 802 electric outline engine in nice but not pristine shape. When I lub'd and tested the motors, the first one ran like a champ, but the second started up and then stopped dead. From what I can see it looks like the armature or part of the armature broke. Obviously not a good thing. My question is: Does anyone on the Forum know where I can get parts for a ninety year old motor or failing that a replacement armature or motor. Or does anyone know of a repair service that can rebuild an armature?
I am hoping that with the wealth of knowledge in the Forum I might be able to get some help.
