Does someone have a source for replacement bulbs for a Marx Postwar 416? I know I could use LED's but they don't seem to throw the light that an incandescent bulb does. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't own one and I Cant see it, Got a bulb number? There are often printed numbers around the bulb base with, ID number, and or volts/amps/watts. If not, you've got to ID the base type, measure the bulb globe, and guess at the volts/ amp/watts. Lucky me I can use automotive standards on most of my stuff. Grainger Supply has surprised me with some odd oversize globe bulb finds when I was in pinball repair, they are scattered all around the D.

My last MARX transformer was rated at 15v and hit 17v no problem. It was the biggest marx I have seen. The 92 is not the easiest thing to find, for that price I would think about a box.

I use 5 chip 8mm LEDs . They are at least as intense as lightbulbs with a similar spectrum. Shown here

Auto parts stores are good in a pinch.
i have used them (Advanced Auto),
they sell both 12v and 14v bulbs
that work in toy trains
I just ask for "large globe 12-14V screw base" bulbs at the LHS. Not sure if my sockets are original, but have no reason to think not. At any rate my reflectors look like yours.
