Morning Everyone,
I have a 1666 from early 1946 with a stripped center driver gear. Are reproduction/replacement drivers available from anyone or should I try to find another engine/motor with good driver gears? This engine is cherry except for the stripped driver, so I'd really like to fix it. I can press and quarter drivers, as needed.

hello, I 've gotten gears from the train tender before. jeff is on vacation this week but he should have what you need. If you are refering to the gear that meshs with the armiture gear it is a easy fix. I have several of those gears if you cannot find one. Email me with your address and I will drop it in the mail.
Thanks for the replies. Guess I'll give the Train Tender a shot. Stew, thanks for the offer but the gear that is stripped is the cast gear that is part if the center driver.
