replacement reversing board mth PB1 #52

I have a MTH PA1 #52 QSI wpowered PB slave unit Engine runs fine but powered PB unit does not. I can get smoke & lights. I checked motors & both work. Im down to the rev unit, How can I check or is there a generic replacement QSI boards

It is a DCRU modified for slave operations. No motion either direction? Is the harness connected to the board? It can be tested separately, but you need to know how and not a simple explanation. Can be bad harness from Lead A, broken wire in either unit, or bad board in slave. G
